About Bark Busters
Bark Busters was founded in 1989 by Sylvia and Danny Wilson in Wollongong, Australia, 50 miles south of Sydney.
The Wilson's have extensive experience in obedience training and the behavioral science of dogs. Both have published several books, produced videos and have made numerous appearances on Australian national television, radio and in the print media.
With an overwhelming response to the Bark Busters training system, the company was able to award all Colorado franchises in just 1 1/2 years. Currently, Bark Busters has now expanded into over 37 states with 170+ franchises and over 270 franchises across 8 countries including Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Japan, Taiwan, Israel, Canada, and here in the United States. Growth is planned across the entire USA within the next 5 years.
Awards and Recognition
In 2002, Bark Busters won the AusIndustry Business of the Year Award, the Australian Post Management and Development Award, and the Small Business of the Year Award.
